and so it is….

the inbetween

Right now, I’m standing at a threshold—a space between who I’ve been and who I’m becoming.

I’m still a practicum student, immersed in the learning, the unlearning, and the deep, ongoing work of becoming a therapist. But I’m also in the early stages of something more—something that is both professional and deeply personal: I’m creating the foundation for my own psychotherapy practice. It’s a quiet but powerful shift, a planting of seeds for the work I want to offer to the world.

This isn’t just about launching a business. It’s about stepping into alignment with the kind of therapy I believe in—the kind of space I wish more women had access to.

therapy for women

I want to work with women who find themselves in those strange, often uncomfortable moments of change—the spaces where life no longer fits the way it used to. Maybe it’s a shift in a relationship. A sense of invisibility after years of parenting. A career pivot. Or just a subtle but persistent knowing that something needs to change.

These women often come with anxiety that doesn’t make sense, disappointment they don’t feel allowed to have, and frustration they can't quite name. And yet, underneath it all, there’s a spark—a desire to return to themselves. A longing to feel whole, grounded, and confident in who they are beyond the roles they’ve been handed: partner, parent, perfectionist, peacemaker.

the work

The therapy I envision is expansive. It’s about more than coping strategies (though those have their place). It’s about creating space to feel, to question, to reclaim. It’s about exploring identity in its complexity and helping women trust their own inner wisdom again.

I’m a strong proponent of Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT)—a powerful, direct, and compassionate method of identifying unhelpful thought patterns and learning how to shift them. I deeply value REBT’s ability to bring clarity and empowerment, especially when clients feel stuck in cycles of anxiety, disappointment, or frustration.

At the same time, I believe therapy should never be one-size-fits-all.

Each client brings their own lived experience, nervous system, culture, and needs. That’s why I take an integrative, holistic approach—weaving together different methods and techniques to co-create a space that truly supports growth and healing. Whether that includes mindfulness, somatic awareness, narrative exploration, or values-based work, I aim to meet you where you are and walk with you toward where you want to be.

still becoming

As I build this practice, I’m still in process. Still growing. Still learning. Still becoming. And that feels right. I’m not rushing to arrive at some polished version of a “finished” therapist. I’m moving with intention, guided by a deep belief in the power of this work and the women I hope to serve.

If you’re in a season of transition too—if you're questioning, shifting, reimagining—I see you. You’re not lost. You’re becoming.

Let’s walk that path together.
